G Squared Surveying Ltd is an agile and dynamic Chartered Building Consultancy based in Aberdare, South Wales.

We provide high quality and personalised building surveying and project management services to clients nationally.

Gary Goodwin BSc (Hons) MSc MRICS – Director

Gary is responsible for all technical and professional services provided by G Squared Surveying. He is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 10 years of experience within the construction industry, working across a number of different sectors including social housing, the public sector, commercial and industrial.

Having previously worked for international real estate advisors GVA within their building consultancy department, he was actively involved in best practice working groups focusing on Dilapidations and PPMs.

Prior to GVA, Gary worked for Michael Dyson Associates undertaking project management of projects ranging from £25k to £4million and principal contractors Mi-Space.

Gary has previously worked with investment funds managed by Henderson, Mansford LLP and Bouwfonds often involving multi-million pound acquisitions and large scale refurbishment works. Gary has also acted for clients such as the Royal Bank of Scotland, The AA, Welsh Government, Ministry of Justice, South Wales Police, Wessex Reserve Forces, TUI UK Retail, DEFRA, Coastal Housing Group, Newport City Homes and Valleys to Coast Housing.

As an active member of the RICS in Wales, Gary regularly sits on mock interview panels for candidates preparing to become Chartered Surveyors.
